"Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Quiet place with short distances to beach and town. WiFi a bit in unstable from time to time and parking could be better, but overall a very nice place. Would surely use it again "

"We are travelling the World with two kids, and this stay was for sure one of the best ones: large 2 bedroom apartment (we booked that) very, very clean. All was in excellent condition. Craig the owner Provider us with a Big box of toys for our kids and of course a High chair as well. We can highly recommend this place."

"A rustic cabin style property with large rooms and good sized ensuite. Several rooms available. Easy to find and well located. On a busy road ( no road noise) leading to the car ferry but with car spaces available. Room opened onto small garden with seating giving views of the bay.
Room well equipped and clean.
Owners lived above the property and we could hear them moving about.
Hosts were friendly and helpful about the area."

Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it).

"Haka House is a fantastic hostel, I can’t imagine there’s a better option for a stay in Paihia, especially on a budget. Great location, spectacular views from dining and main area. Excellent service with terrific front desk support, Byron deserves a raise. I highly recommend this place, and will stay here again if the opportunity brings me back."

"Spent our girls 10th birthday at this hotel. Excellent spacious room with beautiful view of the bay. The room had everything you could ask for with kitchen utensils, large fridge (with ice machine :) ), great beds, spacious bathroom and a large balcony with beautifull views. Bruce and Stephen were most helpful in giving us the best stay possible and we really enjoyed it."

My girls enjoyed the pools and there is a small play ground just across the street which my little son loved to play at. The view is fantastic, both from the apartment, the pools and the play ground.
