Kroer i Western Lake District

"Lovely traditional Lakes coach inn in great setting close to Bassenthwaite although no view of the lake itself. Service was a bit archaic but I’m putting this down to because it felt like everyone was new? The original historic snug bar is the best feature within but it is clear they are more focused on servicing the relatively new restaurant bar area. Free parking and WiFi. Cooked breakfast was fantastic as was dinner … but … why oh why would you feature Nothumbrian sourced ingredients in the...

"Idyllic village pub with beautiful scenic views. Would highly recommend this place as there is plenty of walking trails on your doorstep. This place has a lovely traditional pub layout, fantastic food with plenty of choice, all staff super friendly and the rooms were on point. WiFi great throughout the property. Our room rate included breakfast, a lovely adequate selection which included self help items and order of the menu for hot. We will be definitely staying again when visiting the northern...

"Perfect staying with delicious food, staff are very friendly and helpful, 15 minutes walk to the beach, spacious parking"

"Bridge Inn er meget charmerende, men faciliteterne bærer præg af at det et gammelt hus. Ser man bort fra internettet, er kroen velfungerende og køkkenet laver god mad."

"Well appointed room with everything you need and stunning view."

"Booked a double room but got a room with 3 single beds. Not the end of the world but not what I booked. Beds were uncomfortable. Mattress was really thin, when you sat on it you were basically sat on the bed base and when you laid on the bed you could feel the springs in your back and side. The walls were wafer thin, you can hear the tap running and toilet etc from the room next door. Also the water in the bathroom made a right racket when you ran the tap, shower or flushed the toilet. Had an...

"Idea for a single person exploring the south-western Lake District."

"We could not fault this small hotel - top marks!"

"Vi havde kun tid til en enkelt overnatning men vender gerne tilbage til denne hyggelige kro, som ligger ideelt ved vejen til Grasmere.Personalet er søde og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var god og værelse, seng og bad levede op til forventningerne. Udsigten er enestående og omgivelserne egner sig til traveture."

"Staff very welcoming. Food really nice and very filling. Perfect stay for us. Thankyou"

"Clean room fantastic refurbished rooms with great staff and a proper English breakfast"

"Lovely spacious place, very clean, nice staff, well priced, lovely room. My only gripe would be no curtain in the bathroom window, which looks into houses, but overall we liked it."

"Dejligt sted. Skøn natur omkring hotellet og rigtig god atmosfære. God mad og venlig betjening."
