"We have stayed here before. We like the location downtown. We like the historical nature of the hotel. We absolutely did not like the room we were assigned. We shared a wall with the elevator, so we heard that late at night and definitely at 6:30 am when people went down for breakfast. One evening, someone decided to play the lobby piano and have a sing along after 10:00 pm. I couldn't tell the exact time because my head was covered with a pillow in a futile attempt to muffle the noise. In...

"Very beautiful property, all 5 of us enjoyed our stay very much. There was only one down thing, and that was the lack of cellphone service. Strangely enough, my cellphone was the only one of 5 that had the internet (Verizon service), so everyone used my phone to access the internet and make calls. But other than that, our stay was 5-star across the board."

"We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...
