"Fabulous property in Sooke. We stayed for six nights and enjoyed watching the seals and kingfishers while sitting out on the dock drinking local cider. The beaches were great to explore and everyone we met was friendly and chill. Would definitely love to come back."

"We commented to each other at the end of our stay that this is perfect for our family of 4 for our 3 night visit. The rental filled all our needs and the hot tub was popular. Everything is in excellent condition. We hope to return again next year."

"We really enjoyed this peaceful and cozy home. The backyard was beautiful, we loved watching the birds and using the soaker tub and sauna. The inside was cozy and comfortable. Everyone had their own space, and we had a lot of fun playing darts and scrabble. The town of Sooke is very cute and the people were friendly. We travel quite a bit, and this has been one of my favorite places. I highly recommend staying here."

"The property was beautiful, just what we were looking for. The views of the water were incredible and the house itself was clean and decorated beautifully. The hot tub was private and perfect for two. Very close to amenities but it's so quiet you'd never know. Check-in was easy and independent and customer service by text was friendly and relatively quick. We will definitely return!"

"Spent our first night and husband and wife. Was nice to get away from the city without having to drive too much. No frills basic stay. No light pollution on the night of Perseids meteor shower made for some romantic star gazing. Mongolian yurts were interesting to see! Thanks for a nice stay!"

"Very cozy with throws, lovely ocean furnishings. Well supplied with towels, amenities for BR, kitchen. Owner was quick to reply to questions, requests. Good communication. Upgraded suite when mechanical problem to shower occurred. Enjoyed our stay very much!"

"Great location and space. Great amenities and the suite was well stocked with necessities. The only comment I have is that instructions for hot tub need to be more specific about the chemicals that need to be added."

"Super disappointed that there was no coffee machine in my unit. One does not expect to have to travel with coffee beans, in order to use a grinder to use a French Press! The window in the entrance door is missing its blind or curtain? This looks directly into the bedroom and entrance to the bathroom. Also no dish cloths. I was given the access code to the supply room but there was nothing there that helped."

"It was chilly and rainy when we arrived, Walter welcomed us with hot, home-made soup! He was readily available to answer questions. He even invited us to home-cooked breakfast one morning and it was beyond restaurant quality. The property felt cozy and private. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as observing visitors at the hummingbird feeder. Bus stop right by the driveway is a bonus! We will stay here again, without question :)"

"Fantastic vacation rental. Loved the look of the place inside and out. Very spacious and accommodated nine of us. The host Martina was very gracious and easy to converse with. The scenic view was fantastic. Not far from Duncan or Mill Bay. Would definitely recommend this property."

"We stayed at this property to start off our Vancouver Island trip. It was convenient for us to be about 20 minutes outside the hustle and bustle of Victoria, and 20 minutes closer to Port Renfrew which we visited for the exeptional tidal pools at Botanical Beach. It had a well equipped kitchen, was very clean, and comfortable. It was in a quiet neighborhood a close drive to grocery shopping and hiking down at the beach parks. "Property has a great view and location. Host was very friendly and accommodating. However the property advertised a hot tub which was one of the reasons we booked but the hot tub was the jacuzzi tub in the master suite. The pots and pans were not in great shape, we didn’t even use them. Lastly, on the surface the place was clean but if you looked closer, it could do with a deep clean."
