"Special place, lovely accommodations!"

"A lovely apartment overlooking Sooke Basin, clean and comfortable. The host is friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her. The apartment is on the upper floor ("eagles nest" and we saw an eagle), so be prepared to climb a long flight of stairs. Although called a B&B, breakfast is not made for guests but ample food is provided, so you can fix your own breakfast. The host went out of her way to meet our dietary restrictions. "The property is a very quiet getaway from all the buzz of Victoria. Breakfasts were hearty, healthy home cooked and tasted amazing. Cathy and Errol were lovely hosts and offered info on sites to see and places to get some good food, because it was our first time on the island. Definitely a place to be if you planning super busy days in and around Victoria and then need a peaceful rest at the end of the day. Kids are also entertained with the animals they have. "Teresa went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. She answered my texts promptly if I had a question. The unit is well supplied with big and small appliances (except an oven/stove, but there is a hot plate, a microwave and a toaster oven). Lots of coffee & tea provided as well as kitchen supplies (dishes, cutlery, glasses, plates, trays, pots and pans, etc.). Clean beds. Very quiet area and short walk to a nice little beach. It was a nice place to relax. Close to restaurants. "

"Recycling and garbage as you walk to the entrance and you walk by looking into the owners kitchen. The main area is also used as a staff room? There is a sign on the fridge that says staff use only and clearly has staff’s food in it. You only actually get a bedroom with a lock on it and a bathroom with cleaning supplies mops etc on the wall. I absolutely did not feel safe especially when I came back and someone had been in the suite. This is not as advertised at all. "
