"Very easy access to the Magic Barn. Was surprised to find that a “hot tub” meant a bathtub with running hot water. Lock on the sliding door stopped working when trying to lock from the outside. Cobwebs hanging off ceiling and plants everywhere!But otherwise cozy, close to grocery and thrift stores. On a VERY busy street but when I closed my eyes the noise sounded more like wind than traffic."

"Chrysalis was very accessible and responded to texts very promptly and was very helpful during our stay.We loved her little Casita and have marked it for our next day in Portland. I would stay here again and again. Beds were super comfortable and this little home was spotless and had every amenity we needed.Great neighborhood. "

"What a pleasure it was to wind down in such a special and idyllic place. Home was comfortable and outdoor spaces were perfect for morning coffee and evening grilling and relaxing. Plenty of excellent wineries nearby as well as produce stands and a great fish market. We'd definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Read other reviews for helpful information about the property. Host was responsive to inquiries upon arrival."

"The ABSOLUTE BEST VRBO experience we've ever had! The house was clean and neat, exactly as pictured. The patio was idyllic! The stunning view was a vacation itself! Carol was the most attentive and responsive host we've ever interacted with and the personal and thoughtfil touches, including snacks, coffee, extra towels, and use of extras was above and beyond. Overall, we felt deeply cared for and enjoyed our stay tremendously. If we could give 10 stars, we would! We'll definitely be back. "

"Great place to stay for a quick getaway! The garden is beautiful, and when the breeze blew, the trees swayed and the sound of nature was relaxing. It was a safe neighborhood with so many places to walk to close by. "

"We were so happy to find this adorable house just two blocks away from the friends we were visiting in Portland. The house is impeccably decorated and spotlessly clean. "

"Large nicely furnished space with a kitchenette. Very comfortable and very accommodating host. We were attending an event at Lewis and Clark and was less than a ten minute drive. Five minute drive from old town Lake Oswego and easy into downtown Portland. Would highly recommend. "

"Clean, cute & cozy…the Alberta Nest was a perfect fit for hubby and I, for two nights, in our favorite Portland neighborhood. The Nest was spotless, with coffee, snacks and a washer/dryer. I really appreciated the eco touches in the Nest. Beautiful linens, extra towels and a spacious patio! All the cooking essentials you need, including starter condiments. "What lovely hosts and a cozy space. I am late getting to review this space, but the hosts are so great, they deserve it. Good communication via the app. Cozy bed, great TV setup, a hot tub with clear use instructions. The hosts were gracious about providing privacy for hot tub use, and made everything so easy! I love that the space is ADA accessible, and that the hosts clearly took ADA accommodations into account when creating this cute space. Cute *and* highly functional are rare and so...

"Everything was wonderful! A quiet location with lots of access to restaurants and coffee shops. Beautiful neighborhood! And of course, very gracious hosts! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!!"

"This place is better than I saw in the photos and the photos are really good. Quiet end of the lake with ducks, geese, herons, all showing up on deck everyday! All the lake equipment to use at my disposal and floaty to take my food and drinks in a cooler that floats behind kayak.. Jen was a very onsite hostess. I had everything I needed for an amazing week.. looking forward to a fall or next summer visit again! "

"When we arrived we were greeted by our hosts who were so warm and cordial. There was plenty of space to sleep for me and my two brothers . Fridge was stocked with food and coffee . It felt like home! We came home with cherries from their tree outback as an extra treat!"
