"Booked a mid-week night away, our first stay here. Delighted with what we found: - good sized room (but would be good to have a socket or 2 by the bed). Clean and comfortable. Welcoming staff & owner. Good menu selection for our evening meal there. Right next to harbour and our room had sea views. Amazing breakfast - so much choice and loads. Even a residents car park. Would go back again."

We only have booked one night, wish we could have stayed a few days more, but it was sold out. We still talk about the place / it was one of the best at our trip."

"Pros - wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows, lovely sheets and soft fluffy towels. A lovely newly refurbished bathroom and lots of lovely hot water and nice toiletries. The food is superb, both dinner and breakfast, with lots of choice and cannot be faulted. Dogs allowed everywhere, which for us is a massive plus with 2 dogs. Opposite the Abbey so in a marvellous position for seeing the area by foot and parking is free as well Cons - chipped paintwork in room and bathroom, needed a re-paint...

"The Greyhound is in a lovely quiet village with lovely staff and as a solo traveller I felt at ease. The accomodation is not modern but is clean and tidy and in keeping with the building. The room was spacious add had that I needed."
