"Vi blev modtaget og behandlet meget venligt og imødekommende. Restaurant/pub var supert og med skøn mad og igen imødekommende service. Vort værelse var meget lille og der var om natten konstant støj og summen fra ventilator. Dette trækker meget ned fsva komfort."

"Great staff, lovely environment and super place to stay."

"Wonderful and beautiful location. Felt welcoming from the moment we arrived, rooms felt nice and homey, staff was so helpful and kind, breakfast was divine."

"Good central location with plenty of space in the room and excellent parking. Lightening was insufficient since bedside lights broken or no bulb. Upgrade of interior (one of the 2 rooms) would benefit the property especially for the cost charged."

"Interesting old pub in historic Cerne Abbas. Restaurant and bar are excellent. Food is prepared well and served hot! Our room was tiny. It had an old bed with an uncomfortable mattress that should be replaced. Pillows were not great. Heating was on a timer, so it was cold when we arrived and came on when at dinner. Heating was not operating in the morning."

"Super hyggeligt stede i en mini by. Flot stort værelse med en dejlig seng, skønne puder og dyne. Skøn stillhed. Hyggelig restaurant med rigtig god mad og vin. Ked af at vi kun havde en overnatning. Vil bestemt anbefale til andre. "

"It’s a rural pub with a big heart! Welcoming and friendly. Would love this as my local, and was treated as if we were."

"Beautiful location with stunning views. The room was contemporary and well equipped. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the many choices of beers and wine. Ample parking with easy access. My only negative with the room is that the shower cubicle and bathroom could do with some maintenance by way of grouting and sealing, as there was quite a bit of mould in the shower. If you are a light sleeper, you may be woken up by the guests below using...

"Very enjoyable stay at The George. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great, didn't need lunch any of the days we stayed. Room 3 was perfect for a family, two separate rooms with a bathroom in between."

"Wonderful location, good dining options and lovely sized clean room"

"Quite possibly the best Inn I ever have stayed at. Incredibly cozy, good food, great staff and top tier accommodation 10/10! Tight drive to get there in a larger car or people carrier with the narrow country lanes but all worth it! Would definitely visit again!"

"Stay away. We never felt welcome. Room was nice, but that is also all. We felt we were a necessary evil. Don’t come before 3 p.m.: “come again at 3 p.m.” despite we are gold members entitled to early check in IF the room is ready, but they did not even check, and don’t ask for breakfast before 8 a.m., which is too late for guests on the go. “Come again at 8 a.m.” – You cannot have a table in the restaurant even if booked 12 hours ahead: “others booked months ahead” (nonsene) - Food is...

"Great hospitality and service in an old building. Not suitable for tall persons "

"Beautiful room with all that I needed for my overnight stay. I dined in the restaurant, and had breakfast, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Belland Crown."
