"If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it."

"Fantastic stay lovely hostess really went the extra mile to make our short break very special. Excellent breakfast and the surrondings were all in keeping. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Central location in Dorchester with all its history & museums and some really nice restaurants in easy walking distance Also a good base if you're exploring the surrounding area.
