"We have rented for many years. Homes, cabins, etc. This cottage was outstanding. We were perfectly happy with the stay. Very clean. Everything seemed to be new. Privacy fence around the entire backyard, which was great for us as well as the dog. Near enough to downtown but approx. 3/4 mile or more to walk. All level walking area, but the heat can take its toll. There is plenty of parking in town, so if walking is an issue I suggest the short drive. The owners of the cottage were available at all...

"The only problem I had was that the water wasn't working but the hosts did nake accommodations for us to shower at the property next door and was very good about communicating. The house and property were beautiful "

"We really loved the entire look and feel of the property!! Wow just quiet and secluded enough we didn’t want leave!! Walking to downtown Black mountain was “ alittle” tricky…. But we would come back in a min and recommend to friends!!!!"

"We were not able to use the hot tub due to there not being enough water, which was a bummer. The hot tub appeared old and not very clean. Water pressure is not great if you want a good shower. The fireplace from the pictures didn't work either. I never heard back from the host after I messaged them about the hot tub. For the price, you might as well get a hotel with a working hot tub and good shower. "
