Welcome to Shorebirds 132! This superb one-bedroom retreat features an incredible panoramic view of the bay from its perch above the beach. Walk through the door of this serene, private oasis, and you'll feel like you're a world away from your everyday life.
Our third floor condo requires climbing only one flight of stairs. It features a modern kitchen, well-equipped for meal preparation. The living room, with vaulted ceiling, plentiful windows, and a south-western exposure, captures sunlight all day until the sun sets. The bedroom is equipped with a queen bed, and enjoys the same incredible views. A balcony, accessible from both the living room and bedroom, is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the beach without getting sand between your toes!
Linens, pillows, bath and beach towels are provided. The kitchen provides cook and bakeware, blender, coffee maker and grinder, toaster, microwave, and dishwasher. Washer and dryer, with provided detergent, are in the unit.
There is plenty of parking, with charging stations available for your EV. Luggage carts are available at the parking lot, to make hauling your gear easier!
Things to do and see in the Monterey Bay Area:
With its location between Santa Cruz and Monterey, you'll be in a convenient jump-off point for a day exploring the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel-by-the-Sea, and Big Sur to the South, or Roaring Camp, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, and the wineries of the Santa Cruz Mountains to the North.
Pickle Ball, tennis and basketball courts are located on site, as well as a paved path around a lake. If you enjoy golf, there are several local golf courses nearby, and some of Northern California's premier golf courses are a short drive away. There is epic hiking in Big Sur, Henry Cowell Redwoods and Big Basin State Park - or walk for miles along the shore, just steps from your front door! Visit the harbor in Moss Landing for fish fresh off the boat, or launch a kayak and explore Elkhorn Slough. There are so many ways to enjoy the local beauty!
