We actually didn't realize how nice the private beach is and how close it was (possible to walk to, but there is private parking available and it's an uphill walk back to the property, so you might as well drive). We would have planned more time at the beach. Was a great spot to use to explore the Monterey Bay area. The private backyard was very nice and the home provided a comfy stay."

"We started our day at Twin lakes beach. After a long day at the beach we checked into the Charming Bungalow. It was about 20 minutes away from the beach we selected but that was ok we had plenty of beach time while we waited for check in. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable a great place to wash up and relax before heading out for a walk to the boardwalk. While I didn’t use the kitchen appliances, everything was available if needed. We chose to drive into Capitola for dinner. Would definitely...

"Access to the beach was close, however you have to purchase ticket in order to park at the designated area, unless you are walking. The surrounding area is pretty quiet. "
