A few blocks from the middle of Downtown WashMo, the Aussie Cottage is an historic white brick home with a classic white picket fence.

With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining, dressing area and great room, it sleeps a total of 12 people over the 2 levels.

Over a century old, the home has been updated to modern conveniences, adding a beautiful charm to this brick home.

THE SPACE

The Aussie Cottage is perfect for your home base to explore Missouri wine country, to celebrate your wedding, and to compete in dog shows at the Purina Event Center.

Bring your mom and sisters for a wine country getaway, ride the Katy Trail, or celebrate a wedding at one of the nearby wedding venues. The Aussie Cottage is in the heart of WashMo and Missouri wine country and less than an hour from St. Louis.

The Aussie Cottage is dog friendly for pre-approved dogs only.

MAIN LEVEL

Entering from the back door, you’ll have only 1 step into the home.

The main level has the large great room with flat screen TV, full size couch, love seat, and two chairs. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped and has a large dining table that seats 8 people.

The spacious kitchen has all new appliances and everything you need, including your choice of coffee brewing: drip, Keurig, or French press. The stacked full size washer and dryer are also on the main level behind the built in kitchen cabinets.

There are 2 bedrooms on the main level, one with a queen size bed and the second with two queen size beds. Additionally a full bathroom with combo tub and shower off the hall.

UPPER LEVEL

Up a set of narrow historic stairs is a dressing area with full length mirrors and the third and fourth bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two queen size beds.

The second bathroom is on this level off the hall and has a step in shower.

LAUNDRY

There is a full size washer and dryer in the kitchen on the main level.

BACKYARD

The backyard is fully fenced with a classic white picket fence. It has a patio table with chairs, a gas barbecue grill, and a wood burning fire pit.

We will start you with a bundle of firewood, please pick up additional bundles of firewood (available at the local gas station) if you would like to burn more.

NOTES

* Dog rate of $25 per dog per night, ask about our show dog rate if you're competing at Purina Event Center
* We monitor noise levels inside after 10pm with a noise sensor. This does not record anything, it only measures decibels and will alert us if it is over 80 decibels during quiet hours of 10pm to 7am. Please be respectful of the neighbors.

ADDITIONAL INFO

🐶 Pre-approved dogs only, dog rate is $25 per night per dog plus taxes.

- If competing at Purina Farms, please inquire about the Purina Farms dog rate
- The dog rate applies to ALL dogs on property, even those you choose not to bring inside the home

💳 Credit card must be on file in case of damages. We will send you an email to authorize a $1 hold after your booking is confirmed. This hold begins 3 days before your arrival and is released 3 days after departure if there is no damage, no excessive cleaning needed, and no house rules are broken.

🚗 Drivers license will be required with our signed guest agreement after you book, along with a selfie holding your photo ID

🆔 We will perform a Guest ID verification securely through our payment processor after you book. The main purpose is to make sure no one has stolen your credit card and used it without your permission.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

You can purchase travel insurance for your reservation! The standard policy covers quite a few reasons for cancellation and applies to your whole traveling group.

Note that all new reservations have the option of purchasing a Cancel For Any Reason insurance policy besides the standard travel insurance policy. You can purchase this when you make your reservation with us, and the insurance is automatically connected to your stay.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel before 30 days of arrival, you receive a full refund of your deposit, less a cancellation fee. If you cancel within 30 days of arrival, there is no refund.
