"Great unobtrusive Kiwi hospitality in a wonderful location. We were there in early spring and already the garden was bursting with color with tulips, daffodils, and blossoms on the trees. Birdsong everywhere. Enjoyed a very comfortable room and a great breakfast. Had great communication from Renee and Kevin. Looking forward to returning."

"This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."

"Craig has a lovely place with spacious ground, comfy bed, excellent taste in furniture and decorations. Craig is also very friendly and helpful with suggestions for things to do in Masterton. The complimentary breakfast got a variety of choices for all of us to choose from and it’s so tasty with great quality food!My 2 year old and 4 year old sons enjoyed playing with the two dogs and all the things to do with country lifestyle living! We were just trying to find somewhere to stay for one night...

"Lovely place to stay while in Wellington CBD. Great staff, super helpful and caring. Felt well looked after. Location is great for walking to shopping, bars and cafes. Nice to have a green space / park across from it too. Went to Puffin the wine bar below - excellent spot with again, great customer service. Will def stay here again."
