Feriehuse i Waihau Bay

"Everything about this place was amazing. Too much to give details but the highlights were the views, the size of the large apartment, cooking on the bbq, eating and relaxing on the balcony, going across the road to the rocky shore to watch the sunset, walking the sandy beach the next morning, chatting with the owner, meeting the dog. The hi-way to the east into the mountains was closed from 7pm-7am nightly which made it very quiet for our stay - nearly nothing but ocean waves was heard. Wish we...

"Excellent accommodation. Super helpful and friendly hosts. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy. Beds, very comfortable. Quality towels and bedding. Well equipped with everything you might need for a holiday at Waihau Bay. "

"This place was okay for our one night stay. It is not a luxury hotel by any means. The kitchenette is good and modern, but the other furnishings and the shower are chintzy. The staff are nice though. Since it's about the only game in this area, if you want to drive around this coast, you'll have to take what you can get."
