"Just stayed here for the Labor Day weekend. The pictures really do it no justice. The owners have really done great with the place. Feels very warm and cozy. We brought along 2 huskies who loved the outdoors. My family and I are already considering going back during the winter. "

"My children went on a trip with their mother and I wanted a quick getaway to ride my bicycle in the area (Bastrop to Smithville) and get some hills in my ride. It was perfect spot to be based from and convenient to local sites as well. M&M (Mike & Maxine) were great hosts. Very clean and historical Cabin. The inside is very modern. "We had an absolutely amazing time during our stay at the Ranch. The friendliest duo Shadow and Bootsy greeted us as we pulled up to the barn. Wonderful donkeys and goats just loved to get food and treats. Shadow the gorgeous farm dog took us down the road to our stay and Bootsy the fabulous farm Pig was not far behind. "The house was beautiful. There was plenty of room to accommodate all eight of us for meals and socializing. The outdoors fire pit area was very enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Unfortunately , the master bath shower and vanity storage shelves had to be cleaned and the media room bathroom shower area desperately needed cleaning. The house could use a deep cleaning. We also had to put up with 1-2 hour water outages every morning due to the water department shutting off our water supply...
