For a day out, Tintagel Castle (13 miles) offers a taste of Arthurian legend. Closer to home, golf enthusiasts can take on the championship course at St Enodoc Golf Club, right on Rock’s edge.




Step into the welcoming hallway and you’ll find two ground-floor bedrooms, both with super-king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms, alongside a large games room where you can play pool or table tennis, plus a handy utility room. Head upstairs to the gorgeous lounge, which has bi-fold doors opening out onto a decked terrace with sweeping sea views.
