You can also step out of your door and enjoy a 10 minute walk down to the beautiful and quiet Porthilly beach - all via pretty footpaths and fields. Rock has a stunning sandy beach (1.2 miles) that’s perfect for swimming, sunbathing, sandcastle building and water sports. You will also find boutique shops and a selection of high-quality pubs and restaurants here, as well as a passenger ferry to the harbour town of Padstow (14.5 miles by car), a foodie haven with more chic shops to explore. Port Isaac, a charming seaside town with yet more superb places to eat, is only 8 miles away. Surfers will want to head to the waves at Polzeath Beach (2.5 miles), while golfers can tee off at St Enodoc (1.5 miles) where there are two 18-hole courses.

With pale walls, wooden floors and muted, natural colours, this single-storey holiday escape is an inviting place to rest, relax and unwind. At the end of a busy day exploring, head through the welcoming entrance hall and into the welcoming lounge/diner. Here, you’ll have plenty of space for everyone to unwind, stretching out on the plush sofas in front of a film on the Smart TV. In warm weather, open the patio doors and enjoy that lovely inside/outside feeling. To prepare delicious meals and snacks, head through to the pretty kitchen, where you’ll find a breakfast bar that can seat six. Elegant painted cabinetry provides plenty of space for food storage, and standing at the ceramic sink provides lovely views of the garden. When it’s time to turn in, there are four tranquil bedrooms to choose from, all with soft colours and charming decor. There is a bright family bathroom with both a separate bath and shower, as well as a separate shower room to complete the property.

Soak up some sunshine in the enclosed garden, the perfect spot for children to enjoy carefree games. As well as a lawn, there’s a patio with outdoor dining furniture, ideal for drinks and dining in the fresh sea air.
