"Hotel Casa Ecuatreasures was a wondeful place to stay for our visit to Quito. It is located in a great spot to explore the old town on foot, with easy access to the basilica as well as the various plazas and many places to eat and shop. However, the true highlight is definitely the manager Hernan! He is a warm and lovely host that is full of knowledge and is eager to help you enjoy Quito. The breakfasts were also very nice, local cuisine with fresh fruit juices. Highly recommend!"

"The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast delicious. This hotel was also in as great location! You have to use common sense at night time because the area becomes a little unsafe, but it’s perfectly fine during daytime. "

"This hotel is beautiful. The room was very comfortable, featuring premium sheets and towels. One thing to note is that there is no elevator. This wasn’t an issue for us, but if you have trouble with stairs, be sure to request a ground-floor room."

Mario and Blanco were fantastic hosts from helping us during our very late arrivals, to a wonderful breakfast each morning, helping us with suggestions on where to go in Old Town, making our dinner reservation & transport to the airport. "Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor."

From the moment I was picked up from the airport until I was driven back, I experienced the greatest of hospitality and care. "Hotel is renovated in historic district Nights were chilly but a heater was provided. Breakfast was served at time requested. Beds were comfy. An elevator was available for mobility problems. Having coffee available in the lobby would have made my stay perfect. "
