"It was OK since it is situated downtown so an advantage of being able to walk around the area is good. Nearby restaurants can be found once you step out of the door. Accommodations price is affordable just expect the least amount of comfort in your hostel room. The common area can be at 31deg during the daytime, wall fans are available though but working with a laptop computer could be very uncomfortable. Shower and Toilet rooms need a lot of improvements. Rats can be seen running around. "

"Staff was friendly and always helpful. Internet connection was top notch. Room was clean and bathrooms and showers were always available. The only con from this property was poor water pressure. Toilets weren't always flushing and shower pressure was mediocre. Staff was notified and always attempted to fix the issue."

"Went here on a solo trip. ON BOARD PANGLAO is the place to be if you want to treat yourself to a little indulgence or are on a tight budget. "Lovely hostel close to all amenities and the beach. Our room was basic room with 4 bunk beds and our private bathroom and shower. Towels are to rent, very cheap though. During our stay, there was an acoustic night, music was good, and the small bar was open for drinks. They also provide coffee and food during the day. This hostel is ideal of anyone who's always on the go: very close walk to the beach and D'Mall. "

"I am very pleased and satisfied with their staff Tine, Ron and Gab - they are really accomodating and friendly. The place is very nice and the ambiance gives you a positive outlook in life. The owner is also very welcoming and would spend time to talk to their guest about their experience and would even asks for suggestions to the improve their service which really gave me a "WOW" impression. 10 out 10 👍 I will definitely recommend Spinning Cat Hostel to family and friends."

Will be back again
"Have stayed at Quest Hotel twice now and will stay there again in the future. This time only for a one night stay. Had to catch a plane next day. Check-in and check-out was smooth and fast. Wifi is stable. Service is good. Room was decent too. The breakfast buffet is great with free juices and coffee included. Pool, poolbar and gym on 7th floor. Location is great. Just across to Ayala Mall where there are many options to eat and shop. Unfortunately, it is not that easy to cross the street to the mall because of traffic and no pedestrian crossing near the hotel. There were a few downsides to my stay. I found dust balls under the table, hair etc under the furniture. A long hair stcking to the bathroom wall. I did not say anything about since it was only a one night stay and it did not something that bothered my sleep. Nevertheless great stay and will be back again."
