"Hotel stay was overpriced for what you get which is just a bed and shower. Have to pay to park at this property which I didn’t realize. Breakfast is not included. We used the pool and there were no clean towels. It took 45 minutes for that staff to bring them down. Our room wasn’t ready for our check in time. Had to wait over two hours past the listed check in time."

"Room was clean and breakfast as a part of room charges was very nice. Location of the hotel is excellent. But the hotel is pretty old form the looks of it. Flooring and carpeting is worn out. Bathroom is very cramped and has low ceiling. Oceanfacing living room is nice and boardwalk and beach entry is right next to hotel. Overall a mixed bag. Room Rates are high due to peak tourist time."

"We experienced cigarette smoke in our hotel room constantly during our stay staff was unhelpful. We brought the cigarette smoke to the staff attention on multiple occasions. Staff did not rectify the problem or compensate us. Staff did not enforce the non-smoking policy and we had to suffer. Otherwise this would have been an ok place to stay."

"Pros, walking distance to a lot of good restaurants and shops, indoor pool, outdoor pool, outdoor shower for getting sand off, good breakfast buffet, honestly decent price per night. Cons, the elevators got stuck 2 out of 3 days of our stay, needs one or two more outdoor showers by the indoor pool access door for getting sand off before entering the hotel. All in all would highly recommend as our stay was great."

"I can’t say enough good things about this place! It’s our spot. We’ve stayed here before, but this time the kids and I decided to make it our permanent Virginia Beach place. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and the staff is wonderful as well. It’s a really short walk to the beach from the parking lot. Wish the parking garage was taller we had a luggage rack on our car and had to take it off as we wouldn’t fit with it but still wasn’t that big of a deal.
