"Exactly what we had expected"

"Nerja is a great place and has all you would want. Plenty of restaurants. Shops and several beaches. We hired a car which was great to see a few places- the caves. Mijas, Friggilana as well as Malaga. Having our own pool was great as well as a community pool across the road. We walked to the town most days (30-40 minutes) though there is a local bus. Taxis are very reasonably priced. Lovely villa. "

"We had a great time I the house. It’s a great place if you like it quite and nobody els around. Is was easy to check in and out again. If I would mention something, it would be nice with some more towels for the kitchen and there is also missing some head cloves for the oven. Also the fridge could be bigger. When the house is for around 12 people one fridge is not much for the amount of food and drinks. Overall it is a very find place."

"We had really amazing stay. Villa was very clean. Simple but we liked design and pf course, surrounding. I would really appreciate if kitchen was better equiped, but we managed. The road up to the house is challenging and takes time."

"We loved our week spent in this house. It had everything we needed, nothing was missing. We loved the pool too, and the views & sunsets are incredible. All rooms had air conditioning, which was good during the night, otherwise the temperatures were good without it during the day. The road leading to the house was a little rough but not difficult. "We enjoyed a week of vacation here. 3 generations, 2 children (1,5 and 5 years old) and 4 adults. The access to and from Malaga was easy in a rented car. The home fully lived up to our expectations and further beyond. The house was charming, the decor, the history and the surroundings, including the garden and the most tranqulinzing views over the valley and the sea. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Casa La Higuera, the house itself is excellent with everything we needed, the third member of our party ( a friend ) stayed in the Casita, her only complaint was that she thought that a small fridge in the Casita would have been useful as it would have allowed her to keep water for drinking cool over night. "This place is great for a stay with children. Very relaxing to sit on the patio and watch your kids playing in the pool. The rooms are spacious and easily serve 10 people. The kitchen is very well equipped. We got a broken toaster replaced quickly."
