"We stayed at this cozy house for a week and it was perfect. It was in the country so we felt like we got away, yet it was close to Traverse City for dining and shopping. We enjoyed fishing on several local lakes as well exploring the area. The home was clean, comfortable, and great getaway for two. "

"We had the best time at the Shingle Shack! The house was spacious and comfortable. It is has a very homey feel to it. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is a great little market within a few minutes drive that we v bought all of our groceries at. The kayaks were fun to take out into the lake. The beach fire pit is going to be hard to top for all future vacation rentals. We did not use the bunkhouse during our stay. The lake is absolutely beautiful.Perfect for swimming,...

Loved that we could walk to fish town for dinner. When at the house there was plenty of space for us to hang out together. Perfect for all our needs as far as being together, getting ready to attend the memorial and hanging out to share memories. "
