"Very sweet place for short-term stay. Once on the island, owner was very communicative. The listing is accurate - if you want to cook meals, keep in mind that there is no stove, hot-plate, or toaster, so it worked for us for a weekend (although would have loved a toaster!) The only reason for the 4 stars on cleanliness was because there was a pair of socks from previous renter left in the bathroom, but otherwise clean! It was great with our dog - very comfortable, not overly precious but still...

"The Cupboard Atop the Stairs is a delightful space! Perfect for a weekend away. Laura was extremely helpful, making room in her garage for our bikes as it was pouring when we arrived on the Cape. Despite the rain, Falmouth offered plenty to keep us busy and our accomodations were cozy. A well stocked kitchenette allowed for coffee in bed in the morning:)"

"We had a wonderful time staying at the island inn. We found it to be very family friendly. It had all the accommodations of home while being on vacation with a fully stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean, the space was inviting and we would stay here again!"

"The Island Inn, Oak Bluffs, has suites with kitchenette, a pool, is adjacent to an amazing restaurant, Noman's, has public grills, fire pits, a swing set, a large lawn for yard games...We were very impressed."

"Too many insects. Too much clutter in closets. Construction in other part of the house. Front porch was not cleaned and too much clutter and dirty. Beds were very comfortable. Bedding, towels and pillows all very good."

"Normally, I rent a large house with two or three couples; but this year we decided to take a last minute trip to MV for the Labor Day (2024) weekend. I was pleased to find a place at such short notice and at a reasonable price. This place did not disappoint! It is brand new, had everything that we needed; including a washer and dryer, beach chairs, and linens. We were close to downtown Vineyard Haven. We were sorry we didn’t have more time to spend there, but would definitely come back again....

"We were pleasantly surprised by the ground floor apartment at Paula's place. The check-in process was easy and Paula was quick to answer questions. Paula's place is squeaky clean AND dog-friendly! Although we did not cook, there is everything there anyone would need who wanted to take advantage to the abundant seafood and traditional Portuguese foodstuffs available in New Bedford. "The house was in such a great location. We walked everywhere. Enjoying a glass of wine in the owls nest was such a treat. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious."

"We stayed in unit 26f. This building is at end of the complex affording a more quiet location with little in and out car traffic. Nice unit but could benefit from some small amenities added inside like peg racks for coats and towels, blackout curtains (patio lights on 24/7 lit up our room at night thru big picture window, we unscrewed bulb after 2nd night), shelf space in bathroom and some additional basic kitchen things like S&P, basic spices, aluminum foil and reynolds wrap.
