"The name says it all. When you stay here, you feel like you are staying in a palace. On the outside, it is far away the most magnificent building in Murren. The inside is even better, tastefully and magnificently decorated. The staff is excellent, and the sauna in the spa area is not to be missed. Finally, the dining room is dramatic and the food, particularly the extravagant breakfast, is hard to beat."

Beds were comfy, breakfast (included in my stay) was awesome, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and nothing but kind and helpful. The other reviews that mention flies at breakfast aren't wrong, but this is a dairy region. There are flies all over. It isn't a disaster, but if this is going to wreck your trip maybe stay in Interlaken."

"We loved our stay in the small chalet apartment at Hotel Baren! We had an amazing view of the mountains and could hear the bells on the sheep just down the road… and see the bunnies playing just outside our window by Hotel Edelweiss. The free breakfast was AMAZING and we had dinner there, too - also delicious. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!"

They did upgrade our room size because of this. That being said, the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the restaurant both nights. Their buffet breakfast is also amazing. Seeing that the hotel is no longer under construction, I would definitely stay here...

"Beautiful location in Wagner. It is at the top of a hill overlooking the little town. Is is a short walk from the train station, but the hotel will send a driver if you ask. Everyone at the front desk were very helpful and friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious. "

We had plenty of sleeping space and magnificent views of the mountains and valley. There are cute shops and fantastic restaurants in Wengen. Hotel Falken offered a nice breakfast, and the staff was welcoming and helpful to us during our stay."
