Perfect location to lift to First - just across the street. Free bus ticket to the area and 10 min with the bus to Terminal to mountain/lift for Männlichen and Eiger. Like to stay at the hotel again. "What a treat to have all the amenities available in one location! We looked forward to every morning and returning in the evening to enjoy the spa services. Beautiful hotel! Only downside was the lighting in the room was very dark in the evenings. Would highly recommend this hotel and if we ever return, we would stay here again! "

"Arrived at the Hotel and the staff could not be more feiendly and helpful. Absolutely beautiful property with a swiss feel. Room was great , indoor pool with Sauna and showers . Restaurant was amazing and probably our best meal in Switzerland. Perfectly located right at the beginning of all the restaurants and shops in Grindenwald. Walk out the door and two minutes you are in the heart of everything. Walked to Grindenwald First as well. Would highly recommend and absolutely stay there...

"While the room and building was full of character and history, it was also well-equipped with plenty of space and storage for travellers. The common room for guests had snacks, tea, and coffee, as well as a large fridge. The location is great, a few minutes walk to Interlaken West station and very close to a convenience store. There's a bakery just next to the building and the Interlaken Flagship shop is just down the road."

"We booked the hotel apartment because of the good rating. Unfortunately we did not check all the comments. Had we done that we would have realised that the apartments out in the back of this hotel are very outdated and in poor condition. The apartment was like taken out of the 60's and 70's and very much in need of an upgrade. Dirty coutch and chairs, almost no cooking utensils etc. We have been af few places in Switzerland before this and all of them way better than this hotel and much cheaper....
