"Quirky property - well positioned for sightseeing in pretty rural location. Easy access to Avallon for shopping and the A6. Generally well equipped but no top sheets were provided to replace duvets during the heat wave we experienced. Also very surprised to find that there were no cushions for the plastic patio chairs. "The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"Nous avons séjourné 2 jours et tout c’est très bien passé . Je n’avais pas bien intégré que le logement était en fait le premier étage de la maison du propriétaire. "Was very tranquil. During our stay very hot, we were offered air conditioning which we declined as meant more to pay and we were on a budget. I didn't realise towels not included, I don't think web site made it clear. Facilities good but shower very small for my husband who is disabled. Lovely location very convenient for site seeing and shopping."
