"This was a cabin with no plumbing and an outhouse! This fact should be made clear up front. And although I expected pet friendly, they insisted I keep my dogs leashed in a large field because the owner doesn't like dogs. Never never again! There weren't even any wet wipes or towels and the only lighting was a strip of tiny tiny bulbs that didn't light anything. No electrical outlet whatsoever. We were not prepared for this and very disappointed."
"Staying at the McCarthy Lodge was like taking a walk through time. Lobby area at Ma's Boarding House was awesome and cozy. The gentleman who checked us in on Aug. 3rd was very kind and gracious. The 'hostess' and Jane of all trades at Salmon and Bear was a delight 😊 She too, made us feel welcome and engaged us in lively conversation. "
