"We loved our historic adobe. The fluffy robes were a hit, the sofa bed I slept on was so comfortable. I made a fire in the kitchen fireplace every morning.and mostvl evenings. We enjoyd the sunsets on the back porch and the rainfall at night. We took our time to study all of the art work, probably years in collecting. The home had soul,and felt it was a labor of love on.Melissa's part. She had all the little things we needed in toiletries. "

"We chose this El Prado property in hopes of seeing stars and we sure did! The night was clear and the views were amazing during the day (mountains) and night (millions of stars). The courtyard was charming and a great place for breakfast or afternoon tea/reading. The house was beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed. We had a terrific stay!"

"Cleanliness was sporadic; some surfaces clean and shiny, but the tub in one of the bathrooms was disturbingly mouldy and dirty, we didn't use it. Supplies were haphazard - there were no hand towels anywhere; no small spoons (flatware was mismatched garage sale cast-offs). Beds were VERY firm and uncomfortable, one of them we could not use and put that guest on a futon which was barely better. Some lightbulbs burnt out and the house was dim. Ceiling fans did not work and badly needed dusting....

We cooked a few meals in the enormous kitchen and enjoyed lovely views from all parts of the house. Highly recommend staying here."

"We had a lovely stay. it was clean and nice. However, there were a lot of dogs. They barked and we could hear them in our room. A dog barked from 3 pm to 7 pm we asked the reception what was going on. She wanted to call the owners we don't understand that there is no rule that dogs cannot be left alone in the rooms. In the evening we were at the reception and relaxed when a huge German shepherd comes in. without a leash and without an owner. it ran around. our daughter was terrified. the lady at the reception did nothing, it was very unsafe. if the employee was scared she could have at least checked on us later. "
