"The ladies at the activity desk and the staff at the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The property is showing signs of aging, and needs some maintenance and repairs. Our specific unit needs some upgrades and replacements (mattress, chairs, faucets, etc...). The lighthouse as a whole is great, as there is a more private gym and pool facility. "Our room was a Deluxe room with Ocean View which faced the ocean with a view of the pool side. Loved this as could also hear the music from outside. Very clean and spacious. The staff were so friendly and approachable. At the beach area the staff/waiter/waitress were amazing, very upbeat and created an incredible happy, relaxing atmosphere. One of the staff noticed sun burn on my granddaughter and said he will get the "doctor" lol and brought another waiter whose name I dont recall but started...

"The apartment was luxurious and spacious, very well equipped. The fridge in the kitchen even has an icemaker. The water has improved vastly in St. Martin in recent years, and we had no issues drinking the tab water or using ice cubes from the ice maker at this hotel. The large balcony is where we spent most of our time in the apartment. There is a magnificient look over the sea. The pool is clean, large and has a dive board and a slide. "The resort is decent, the hours of operation should be longer in my opinion the swim up bar by the pool closes at 5pm the pool closes at 7pm the buffet close at 10 pm everything else close at 11pm if you get hungry at night after going out there will be nothing to eat.
