"Wonderful experience in a lovely family home with a private apartment snd private entrance. A very nice yard is also available to guests.This is a good location. We had easy access to the Takoma Park area. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who would like to be in this area."

"The building and hallways are dated and have that old smell. The apartment itself was clean upon entry. It was decorated nice. However, when we went to cook many of the dishes were dirty. We also started moving the decorative plates off the dining table to eat dinner and had roaches run from under the plates. I got a picture of a baby one that I will include. "DO NOT STAY HERE. Pictures are photoshopped/ the reality is horrible. Carpet not been vacuumed and had loose debris as well as stains/fraying. No vacuum to use except hand vac. Hair stuck to the floor/cabinets in both bathrooms, and mold in the caulk in the floor and bathtub as well as rust in the medicine cabinet. Bathroom countertops and marble floor had permanent stains. The beds were foam and sunk to the boards underneath. The pillowcases had not been washed well and still smelled. After...

"Don’t stay here. I checked in and the beds were dirty, there were dishes in the sink, and the bathroom was dirty as well. I called the host to help me. I sent photos. They said they would try to help me. And there was no response for an hour or afterwards. I couldn’t stay in a dirty bed so I had to book another hotel. As of today, I have not received any response from the host, or reimbursement, or apology."

"Host was wonderfully responsive, pictures are accurate, didn't say on the listing but kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and cooking utensils which was nice. Unfortunately the snacks weren't stocked like the picture haha and there was only one butter knife but hey better than nothing. WiFi was fast and there are two smart TVs. "It was very close to the sights at the capital and close to the Metro (three blocks) and within walking distance of many places to eat. The hostess was very helpful."

"We loved it! The apartment looked just like the pictures. It was close to everything we needed- 10 minute walk to Pentagon, 10 minute walk to metro train. The only down fall was we didn't know about paying for parking - we found out the day we left though so were able to get it taken care of before we arrived.
