"We had a fantastic long weekend on the Graythwaite estate. The property was immaculate and well equipped, with plenty of space for a large group and comfortable beds. If you like the Lakes and the activities it has to offer then this is a great place to stay. I would have given 5 stars but for the heating, which uses storage heaters and the property was cold in the evening, particularly on the first night. Also be wary of the fan/light over the hob which was very easy to bang your head on."

"House was very spacious, view was incredible and we had off road parking. Unfortunately the house wasnt cleaned to a high standard, we were faced with dust, cobwebs and the last guests rubbish! The contact numbers left in the house were of two ladies who no longer look after the property! No wifi code! We also found bug faeces on a bed pillow. Hair and bugs in the bath! "House needed a good deep clean for spider webs and dust. But general level of cleanliness re kitchen bedding etc was OK. Great location. Fantastic garden but remember to note it is a shared garden. We kept our dog on long lead. Neighbours 2 dogs and 2 children were not !!!! Their dog poo left on our areas. Fence needed please as this really impcted on our stay"
