"Very friendly staff, clean and tidy room, walking distance to sea front one way and main town the other - about 5 minutes.
Breakfast amazing, even M&S zero fat Greek Yoghurt selection and perfect Avocado with lightly poached egg! Full English cooked fresh and looked very appetising.
Will definitely return!"

"The property was on the seafront overlooking the beach, Southend Pier, and the amusements. All of the food outlets were either on the seafront or within 20 minutes walk east or west along the parade or north going towards Sainsburys. Lovely place which i hope to visit again."

"Wonderful staff who were very accommodating. We got a free upgrade and enjoyed the view of the sea. We got room service and were served generous portions. Breakfast was delicious! Absolutely would stay here again if I was in the area."

"It could have been fantastic. The location can't get better, the room decoration is very nice, but when the toilet does not flush unless you pump it out and the remote to the TV does work. The windows are difficult too see through and one of the lamps doesn't light, it takes it down. It's really small things that could easily be fixed"

"Overall good for the cost. TV with apps, nice shower, clean etc however bed was very basic, shower overfilled quickly, and walls thin and being on ground floor it was noisy when people entered. Very limited parking outside, was lucky to get a free space two streets away. Fine for single person, would not recommend as a family or couple "

"Stayed here while going to a friends wedding in the local area. Created to really friendly staff and check in was a breeze. The room was compact but had everything we needed, comfy bed and even a little hamper with slippers, teas coffee and milk.
Hotel is above a pub though there’s a separate entrance so coming and going was easy.

"It was a very nice place to stay at a reasonable cost. Ideal location near to Cooling Castle were able to walk back after the wedding well with a torch. Staff were all friendly. Would recommend."
