"This a cute property. It has recently been renovated blending its classic original charm and modern amenities. This home is clean and comes with everything you would need on a trip away. The kitchen is heavily stocked with with utensils, pots and pans, and small kitchen appliances. It is also loaded with spices, seasonings and some everyday foods. We plan on staying here again when we visit. "

"The space was clean, well-curated, VERY well-stocked, and easy to access. We arrived to a beautiful cabin where the host had thought of everything! There were plenty of dishes, a coffee maker, a water heater, spices, and clean towels. The tap water was delicious and the outdoor space was stunning. Due to rain, we were unable to use the outdoor fireplace, but the cozy enclosed porch allowed us to enjoy the outdoors even through a dramatic thunderstorm! The host even labeled light switches to make...

"Despite the cold/rainy weather, we had a wonderful weekend vacation. The host Rudy was great to work with, giving us lots of suggestions for indoor activities and restaurants. The house is beautiful and in a great location. The heated bathroom floor was a bonus! We'll be back in the future. "

"I can't recommend Rustic Retreat enough for a stay in Lake Placid. Comfortable, cozy and very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities. There was more than enough room for our party of six to spread out and relax and we all loved hanging out in the main floor living room with the wonderful fireplace. Colleen was great to deal with and her welcome package is very informative. Located just outside of downtown Lake Placid, it is very convenient to all of the Olympic venues as...

"A beautiful peaceful property. We are grateful for lots of great amenities . The hot tub was amazing. Washer and dryer a plus. Great location- So many things to do in the area. Hosts were clear and concise in their instructions. We had a wonderful three generation family vacation!"

"We rented the condo because my son was competing in the ADK Challenge. The condo’s location was great, just a 5 minute drive to get into the village.The condo was very clean and comfortable. We had a great stay and would definitely rent again."

"I was not provided (by Expedia or website) with Host's phone number so we could call to get the lock box code but luckily the neighbor provided us with that (phone number) and my daughter worked it out."

"There is nothing fancy about the house, but it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC. It was great to have the kayaks and dock on the property -- Lake Clear Outlet is very peaceful without a lot of houses and the current/wind is more manageable than when you kayak on a big lake. We had one small problem with the diverter not working in the shower in the morning but...

"The house was perfect for a large party. Everyone had their own room. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked so we could make breakfast each morning. A short walk to town. Josh was easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend!"
