Pine Forest is arguably one of the most desirable locations in Truckee. Nearby, you'll find world-class golf courses, wineries, and breweries. You can also go fishing and boating on the Truckee River or horseback riding through the scenic countryside.

A short drive away is Truckee's Regional Park. In the summer, enjoy basketball courts, Frisbee golf, two baseball fields, weekly summer concerts, a Farmers Market, and a BBQ area (reservations required for events or busy evenings). In the winter, the park features an open-air ice rink. The Legacy Trail, which begins at the park, runs 7 miles along the Truckee River into Glenshire and is paved for biking or running.
