Lovely place which could be amazing
My partner and I stayed for two nights in an explorer cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is small, but had almost everything we needed. It would have been lovely to have basic necessities provided such as salt, sugar, coffee and tea, as it seems excessive and wasted to have to buy a kilo of sugar and salt for just a few days. Additionally the kitchen was just a bit too small, and it was difficult to cook there. The cabin had lovely skylights but these were covered in snow and not cleared even though it didn’t snow during our stay, so they were essentially useless. We had two single beds and no big top mattress to keep them together, so the beds kept sliding apart during the night making sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Finally the shower door could not stay open so we had to use the bin to hold the door when we wanted to shower. Overall we had a good stay, but if the items above had been improved, we would have loved the stay! We would definitely come back if these aspects are addressed.

Vi lejede en deluxehytte med plads til fire. Der var rent, pænt og god udsigt til det bagvedliggende bjerg. Selvom det var lidt koldt uden for (-4 - +4 grader) så var hytten behagelig varm. Køkkenet havde de mest basale ting. Beliggenheden var rigtig fin, når man havde en bil til rådighed. Personalet i receptionen var flinke og hjælpsomme.

Schöne kleine Hütten auf eben einem Campingplatz. Schöne Umgebung, aber doch recht weit weg von der Innenstadt. Taxi kann man rufen, zahlt aber drauf, damit es erstmal einen abholt. Das Frühstück war gut, besonderes Lob an die Restaurantmitarbeiterin. Die Rezeption ist nicht immer besetzt, deshalb kann man abends keinen Kaffee oder Tee mehr bekommen. Die Mitarbeitenden waren größtenteils freundlich, doch wirkten teils etwas gelangweilt. Generell könnte man mehr Flair reinbringen, bspw. ins Clubhaus. Das Frühstück war doch recht teuer und sie waren keinerlei kulant bei besonderen Anreisefragen. Alles in allem eine nette Unterkunft, die aber eben ein Campingplatz.

Perfect place to stay in Tromsø away from it all
Our lodge was great. It was clean, in really good condition and warm and cosy. The reception staff were really helpful and able to answer all of our questions. I'd recommend staying here if you want to stay outside of the city centre. The location of the property was great, a 15 minute walk away from the Arctic Cathedral and a short bus ride into 'Central' Tromsø. If you are travelling to or from the airport and not hiring a car, and it's snowing heavily, I would highly recommend a taxi. Although the taxis in Tromsø are a bit of rip off (circa £30 to the airport), the distance from the lodges to the nearest bus stop is a few hundred meters, and dragging cases through snow was not fun and was hard work, as we found out when we arrived. We made sure we booked a taxi (which can be done in reception on a tablet) back to the airport.

The cabin was beautiful, so comfortable, very warm and accommodated the party of four very easily. We walked everywhere and we needed a taxi. It picked us up from our front door. Also, the food at the cabin was delicious.

Un muy buen lugar, están bien lindas las cabañas y se puede salir a jugar con la nieve muy fácil. La atención es muy buena. Las sábanas/almohadas estaban bastante viejas. Tiene buena calefacción. Es complicado llegar de la parada de bus al camping caminando en días de viento y nieve, pues son 700 metros cuesta arriba con piso deslizante. Buen hotel, lo recomiendo

Uns hat es super gefallen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Qualität der Unterkunft. Sie war super sauber, gut beheizt (selbst bei -20 Grad). Die Ausstattung war ausreichend.

The information kit from the hotel was great, they give you a lot of information about Tromso before and during your stay. I would have rated five star if the hotel lets me what I should expect for the traditional cabin, I would have changed to deluxe cabin if I knew this ahead.

Very friendly and approachable staff..definitely recommended . Only disadvantage was intercom or no phones in room if we needed to call the front desk.. Overall highly recommended property to stay. Very cozy and relaxing ambience

The check in was seamless Staff was super friendly and accommodating. They were informative about the lodging and outside excursions. The cabins were clean perfect for our group. Affordable and close to the center of town if you wanted to hear to the city . Will definitely recommend this to everyone

Decent camp site. Room is clean and cozy.The environment is quiet and comfortable. I could see starry night and northern lights during my stays. The pillow and bedsheet are not very clean.

I like camping so my cabin was really nice and clean and private. I didn’t like the location of my cabin It was facing a big sports complex that had the flood lights on until 11pm that was my cabin there were other cabins in a better location So no way to see the northern lights

Wir waren in der Explorer Cabin und es war niedlich und sauber. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten, außer vielleicht einen Haartrockner. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Perfect staff.
Excellent stay. The staff here are just lovely , really friendly and helpful . The chalets are spacious ( we had a traditional chalet ) and really comfortable. Lovely environment and the breakfasts are brilliant if you have them
