Spread out in our Trinidad Gem, Starfish house, with large rooms and yard. The perfect base for exploring and relaxation.The light filled Starfish house is my personal home exquisitely decorated and fully provisioned. You'll find 1300 sq ft. 1 BED home on a quiet street in charming Trinidad. Within a few blocks are Trinidad Harbor, 3 beaches, tide pools, restaurants, the museum, murphys groceries, craft market, marine lab, and nature walks. Wether you're a romantic couple or a solo adventurer, we pamper you!

Starfish is my personal home laid back and comfortable. It combines contemporary style with all of my beautiful family antiques.The living room is spacious enough to practice yoga, relax and watch a movie on one of the couches, or sit at the table to enjoy high speed internet. Wether or not you play the piano you'll have to try out the 1887 Steinway piano to hear its resonant tones. You'll enjoy my most treasured possession: a series of botanical paintings done by my great great grandmother over 150 years ago. While your relaxing in the home, please enjoy games and my collection of books which include many on local nature.

I love baths, so I designed the bathroom accordingly. There's a separate bathtub and shower with a dimming warm sconce, for a soft lighted soaking.

In the large kitchen with expansive granite counter tops and skylights, you'll find whatever you need to make a tasty meal. Visit our local grocer for local fish and fresh vegetables.The kitchen includes pots and pans, dishes, large refrigerator, utensils, gas stove oven, cooking staples, microwave, coffee maker. We provide paper towels, kitchen towels, and new sponge. You are welcome to use the laundry room with detergent provided, please no harsh chemicals or scents.

In the bedroom couples can cuddle up on the full size mattress bed on the handmade double size bedroom furniture crafted over 100 years ago with gorgeous Koa wood frame. The bedroom looks into the back yard where you'll notice a mature maple tree.

The private backyard has a table and chairs where you can enjoy eating outside.

Although this is my home, when your there, you'll feel like it is your alone. There's a secured separate locked room, so the main house will be all yours.

To me, Starfish is my lovely cherished home, not a business or tax write off. My manager, Lynda Moran, lives in town with her husband and children, She manages a small set of very best curated vacation homes, and treats each of her visitors like her personal guests. With Starfish house, you don't need to settle for, a cramped cabin or corporate owner or manager. Or a location that's anywhere other than the middle of Trinidad its self!

Trinidad is a half hour away from Redwood National Park, the lagoons and many other enticing nature spots. Arcata home to Cal Poly Humboldt is a short 20 minute drive.
