"The cottage was peaceful and a perfect place to send my parents to relax. The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect. "The upstairs one bedroom was great although the steps took some effort. The open living room, kitchen and dining room gave plenty of room to spread out. The porches on each end really added a nice touch as well as the fire pit and stack of fire wood. The walkway to the creek was well done and gave easy access. "We had an excellent time Bear Cub as a family of 4. I was so impressed with how CLEAN it was and I am so picky about that. It smelled truly clean and not a speck of dirt or dust. The grounds are maintained so it was easy to access and walk the dog. We had a blast on the lake and love the area. It is very rural so be prepared! The kids loved playing in the loft but did end up sleeping in the primary (room with a door that shut) and mom and dad got relegated to the smaller bed but still everyone...

"What’s great place to stay! We had so much privacy and direct access to the river. The place was very clean, the grounds were also very clean well maintained with so much to do.
