Wings Cottage - Oceanfront!

Come and visit our charming two bedroom Wings Cottage . Enjoy all the comforts of home and step outside to our covered porch just steps to the ocean where you can sit and watch seals, porpoises and eagles. Look across Mt. Desert Narrows to panoramic views of Mt. Desert Island and Acadia National Park and relax and enjoy everything coastal Maine has to offer.

Wings Cottage features a fully equipped kitchen with 5-burner gas range, dishwasher, microwave and both traditional and k-cup coffee makers. The large deck offers another dining area with bbq grill to take advantage of warm nights while watching the tides come and go.





We offer amenities such as free high speed wireless internet, satellite cable.

The layout was perfect with a large living room with a great view of the water and mountains in the distance. The kitchen in the center had all the utensils you would want. And then an adjacent sun room with views of the woods where the deer visited along with a view of the water .

We loved the cottage and will look to return.It was close to Acadia, Bar Harbor and close to everything. The cottage was very welcoming, and the owners are very responsive and want your stay to be perfect.We definitely had a very peaceful and perfect stay.

This rental is fabulous. Beautiful ocean views with graveled rocky beach. Comfortable and appealing furnishings, and well stocked kitchen supplies/appliances. And the hosts were quick to respond when needed.

50th getaway!

I needed somewhere beautiful to spend my 50th & Wings was the PERFECT spot! I cried tears of joy when i walked in the front door & say the view! Brian & Stefanie were very easy to communicate with!

Peaceful & relaxing

We loved staying at the Wings cottage for our first trip to Maine. It was a great home base, close enough to head to Acadia each day, and the most relaxing place to start and end the day. The view is just incredible and the little touches like binoculars were great! Wings also has a well stocked kitchen, and the hosts are super responsive. A great place to stay!!

Lovely location

We had a great week at the Wings Cottage. It had everything we needed for a comfortable week. We biked on the Carriage Roads at Acadia and the Sunrise Trail in Ellsworth. The sunrises and sunsets from the Cottage were spectacular. Our dog liked the fenced in yard.

Peaceful Waterfront Stay

Great location for enjoying Acadia National Park and surrounding area. We loved having our coffee on the porch looking out on the water each morning and catching glimpses of the seals out in the bay.

Perfect stay

We had such a wonderful week at wings. We've stayed in many Vrbo near Acadia and this was our favorite so far. Loved that our dog was welcome, how close the house sits to the water, close to Acadia and bar harbor but far enough away from the hubbub and tourists. We rented a kayak and saw eagles, proposes, seals and schools of fish. Beds were comfy. New master bathroom was gorgeous!

Perfection

Wings Cottage was everything the listing promised, and more. It was spotless, quiet, comfortably furnished, and had a well-stocked kitchen. The views were incomparable, and we absolutely loved our visit there. Were sad to leave! I hope to be back!

Loved Wings Cottage

We loved our stay in Wings cottage. The house was clean, well-kept and comfortable. The view from the back of the house was amazing. The water is only about 200 feet from the house (depending on tide). In the early morning, we would see aquatic birds in the water, and sometimes a seal or two swimming. Most evenings at low tide, we would see a seal lying on a rock exposed by the tide. The house has two great bathrooms and wonderful beds. All of us slept like babies at night what with the comfortable beds and the quiet. The kitchen was another area that we really liked. On most days we made dinner instead of eating out or getting take-out. The sun-room next to the kitchen and the back porch are great places to sit and enjoy a cup of coffe and read or enjoy the view. This was our first visit to Acadia national park, and sadly, it rained more than half the time we were here. We ventured out to the park if the rain was light, and found fewer crowds everywhere. If the rain was heavy and we were forced to stay indoors, the sound of the rain on the metal roof was very calming. We did have some good weather, and on one of those days, a highlight was having lunch on the lawn at Jordan Pond House restaurant! No matter where we went, we were always happy to return to Wings cottage at the end of each day.

Exceeded expectations

I can’t say enough good things about our stay!! The house is absolutely beautiful!! It was clean, spacious, and well kept. The views were amazing!! The bay that the house is located on is pretty big. There was a seal that did lots of swimming in front of the house. He liked to sun bath on a rock in the late morning allowing for a good look at him. We are from the Midwest so it was fun watching him. The hosts seemed to communicate well. We tend to not bother the hosts for anything. They let us know that the house was available for early check in. We really appreciated that they reached out to us with that news as it made our check in day a bit easier. Check in was easy since it’s a lockbox. The house is located about 25min from Bar Harbor. There is a bakery (Sugar Bakery) less than 10 min from the house that has really good coffee. Otherwise, there is a keurig and a regular coffee maker. The house and location was perfect. I would highly recommend this house!!

Amazing Stay

I cannot say enough good things about this cottage. It was extremely clean and cozy. Beautiful views and very convenient for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We can’t wait to return.

Great property near Acadia without the crowds

The house is superb. Modern, clean, comfortable with an incredible view of the bay and Acadia in the background. We have stayed at numerous rentals around Maine and this was easily the best. The owners were very helpful with questions we had.

Amazing stay

Amazing views being right on the water! Lots of wildlife to see and can easily spend your days at the house not needing to leave. Close to bar harbor and Acadia National park hiking if you want to partake in local activities. Hosts were great at communicating along the way and answering questions about the area. Felt right at home. Will stay again!
