"We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was needed after the full days of hiking and bike riding through Acadia. The kitchen was very well appointed, although we never cooked dinner as we enjoyed the Bar Harbor restaurants - More local to the house, be sure to check out the Sea Ketch restaurant… it was delicious. We were only home for one sunset, but it was lovely. Also we highly recommend sailing out on the schooner Margaret Todd, a Cessna flight...

"This chalet was perfect for our stay on Mt Desert. Spectacular views. Lots of room to spread out. Away from the crowds, but still a quick drive into Bar Harbor. Everything was clean and well maintained. The owner was very communicative and gave clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Nice place and really enjoyed it. But can't get five star because it was shown at wrong location on VRBO app (location is a very important item) enhance was very confusing to find. It is on the north side of the island not by downtown. Also water pressure was low and would turn off upstairs shower to trickle if others in use."

"The location was great to walk to almost everything. Was able to take a trolley to the park for a tour which we would highly recommend. The room was very clean. Shower was great lots of pressure. The gifts that were left in the place was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend for anyone we know coming to Maine - bar harbor. "

"Exactly what you think of a cabin in the Maine woods. Close to Bucksport. No wifi. Only got one channel on the rabbit ears for the TV, but many movies available to use on the dvd player. Dark outside at night. Quick response from property manager. Would stay there again. "
