"This property is fantastic. I really enjoyed the story surrounding the building (being built up in the last couple of years with the original building being 184 years old!). Everything was very clean and cosy and is the perfect stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The communication from the host is perfect, she really went above and beyond to make the stay as easy as possible. "

"We had no hot water for showers, the basin in the main bathroom has a plumbing issue as is leaking underneath and door handle fell off the bathroom. Tried to communicate with the property manager and still have not received a response to the water issue from her. Stayz people were fantastic trying to sort it out. Needs a proper clean with the bathmat containing other guests hair etc. we went to our graduation with having no showers. I would not recommend."

"First impression was a but odd pulling up, as the rental is located directly behind another house on the property. However, once we got past that, the location turned out to be fantastic-very close to downtown, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and the botanical gardens.The home is as pictured in terms of fixtures and furnishings. Our beds were crisply made, the bathrooms were clean, and there were a good number of towels on hand. We all slept very well despite some horrible jet lag. ...

"Property manager was very accommodating to let us drop our luggage before the standard 3pm check in time.Property was very central and super close to Lake Wendouree.However:-Dirty towel and dirty black rug was left behind in the bathroom from previous guest.Room no. 3 had a pungent fishy/ salty smell (i guessed it could have been dirty cloth from the cleaner, used to wiped down the room with).There was a bucket in the laundry trough with dirty sheets soaking.Room no. 1 had bedsheets with hair...

"The house was a great size a mixture of old world charm and modern amenities in the living kitchen and bathrooms. Very clean and plenty of good quality linen. The central location made it easy to walk to cafes, restaurants and shopping, which was great with young children. Our host always responded quickly and was very helpful. Would totally recommend this house for a getaway. We certainly could have stayed longer."
