Vi blev forkælet med deres hjemmelavede morgen- og aftensmad, der i høj grad baseres på egne eller lokale råvarer og tilberedes så lækkert. Bordene dækkes smukt og personligt op, blot for at nævne en mindre detaljer i det store billede. Deres skønne vine kan købes på flaske eller glas dagen lang :-)"

"Beautiful, comfortable and clean accommodations with a stunning view of the Douro River! Excellent pool overlooking the river and valley. The staff were all so friendly, kind and helpful. It was an absolute delight to stay here, I would highly recommend Quinta da Marka and hope I can make it back there someday! "

"The surroundings are beautiful, all vineyards. Know that this is in a pretty isolated area and it requires driving on small two lane mountain roads with some hairpin turns to get here. We were practically the only guests here during our stay, and had a breakfast spread waiting for us each morning. We had the infinity pool to ourselves. The grounds are great. The room was kind of fancy looking, but romantic. (Note: glass walls on the bathroom.) Also note, you have to drive at least 15 minutes...
