"The location is beautiful and the house is nice. It's unfortunate that it has not been cleaned well. There were dark hairs on the sheets of both beds, a lot of the windows were dirty with smudges/smears and there were multiple areas that need dusting and vacuuming. There are some safety hazards as well like loose bricks on the bottom of the steps. With a really good deep clean and regular maintenance this could easily be a five star stay. I travel the southeast all of the time using VRBO and I’d say this was the best property for the price that I’ve ever rented through them. The host was very friendly and professional. I suggest that whoever travels there using VRBO to check for availability because the property is great and at a convenient location"

"The lake house was perfect for our needs! The only concern was parking. The driveway is very steep and some of our elderly family had a hard time walking to the front door. The house itself was well lit with a nice layout. Having a separate suite downstairs was a big plus for small children to watch TV and not have to climb up and down the stairs. If we were parking only two cars this house would be perfect! Phillip was very receptive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. "
