Thank you for taking a look at "Naughty Pines" cabin on Ace Gap in the gated community of Laurel Valley located in the hidden gem of Townsend , TN--your least crowded and quickest route to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! Townsend is referred to as the "Peaceful side of Smokies."

Our cabin will greet you with a breathtaking view of the mountains as you park in front of the cabin located on a cul-de-sac. The cabin is tastefully decorated with a King bed and full bathroom ensuite on the main level, and a King bed and full bathroom ensuite in the loft area as well. The living room is furnished with a sleeper sofa. Walk out the door between the kitchen and living area and you will find one of the most inviting screened deck spaces in Laurel Valley--you will be surprised as to how much time you and your family will spend in this deck space. The living area has a stone gas fireplace for those cold late fall and earl winter evenings.

Other amenities of Laurel Valley is a public golf course, and tavern. As a guest at the "Naughty Pines", also, for a small fee, you and your family may enjoy the Wild Laurel community pool (open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend), and fitness center at no charge . OUR cabin is also pet friendly so check the rules to see if your pet qualifies.

Once you drive through the small town of Townsend with only ONE stop light, you are only minutes to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance, and Cades Cove is only 9 miles from the end of the main road through Townsend.

On our side of Wears Valley, you leave behind the madness and frustration of traveling through dozens of traffic lights in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg before you get to the Park. However, a short and scenic drive through Wears Valley can take yo to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Anyone looking for BEARS?! The Townsend area has a number of black bears and deer--especially around the Laurel Valley community, and this is BEFORE you even get to the Park!

If you are looking for a great area for a fine dining experience, it is right here in Townsend at the Dancing Bear, just 5 minutes from the cabin or drive 20-25 minutes to Maryville, TN, which has a number of fast food alternatives, great family restaurant's as well as one of the finest dining experiences you will find anywhere at the Foothills Milling Company. All of this while avoiding the crowds in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. A trip to Townsend would not be complete without a pizza from the Peaceful Side Social. Although they have much more than pizza, their pizza is AMAZING! Peaceful Side Social also has a wide variety of craft beer as well.
