"We enjoyed our stay at Vacation UniquEly! We spend a lot of time in Ely and this was our first time staying here. We loved the location! The cabin was so clean. The space was perfect for my mom and I to have some privacy from each other at night but still be close. The fridge was a nice size for being a mini fridge. We had everything we needed for a long weekend."

"My husband and I had the most amazing week here! Went fishing every day. Caught loads of fish around the lake. Even caught several off the dock, including a keeper walleye, perch, bass and northern! Sat and watched the northern lights from the dock one night. Grilled some steaks, went kayaking, saw lots of eagles and loons. Had a few campfires and enjoyed a cozy night by the fireplace. Jeff was great at accomodating anything we needed. He was quick to respond to emails. He was very respectful...

"Very nice cabin. Clean and well kept. Having the John boat and canoe were a nice bonus seeing we were on an island. Lol. Host was very responsive and Rob was too. While we were there it got cold, so we needed to use the gas burner cast iron heating unit. Couldn’t get it lit and they were very helpful on that. Reading the instructions became helpful. Another knee slapper. Push in the knob while igniting with the pilot button. The instructions were on the floor attached to the legs. Hard to read,...

"Great spot! Plenty of room to cook, great fishing, quiet, and relaxing. We launched our small 12 foot boat which was awesome. A word of advice, if your boat is bigger than that, you might want to launch at the resort across the lake so there’s adequate space to back in. The lake is a short walk down the hill through a pretty path. I caught my first very large bass (a mounter!) and our dog who is fighting terminal cancer can happy and comfortable. He really liked the fan that was in the office....

"The house and property are beautiful! Great views of sunrises if you can get up early enough. The house was actually larger than anticipated and was extremely well supplied. Would highly recommend! The only negative we found was that none of the windows had screens on them - we would’ve loved to open windows but didn’t want to contend with the mosquitoes. "

"My husband and I really enjoyed the Yacht Club cabin on Burntside Lake! Well kept, safe and close to town. Loved the dock for our boat, neighbors were quiet and respectful. "The cabin had a great view of the lake with a deck overlooking it. The lake is beautiful, and the fishing was satisfactory. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed, including nice dishes. I enjoyed having a dishwasher too. Bob and his family were friendly and helpful. There are kayaks available for free use, a ping pong table, a fuseball table, paddleboards, darts, and movies. If you don't mind an older cabin that needs some repairs, then it's a great place to stay."
