Good service
The location was good. The room comfortable and clean. Everyone was really nice and helpful. The price is a little high for what you get.

A bad lodging experience, during my stay starting on 05/18, the rooms to the left ,right, and across were under renovation. We were constantly disturbed by noise and dust. this is the first time I've encountered such a situation in all my years of staying in hotels.

We had a king suite and it was extremely spacious. Some down points was that at check-in we waited 30 minutes and with two kids that was tough. Also, the air conditioner was soooo loud! It worked which was great, but the noise on and off made it hard to sleep. Lastly, the bed seemed smaller than a king. We have one at home and it definitely felt smaller which made three of us very tight. But overall, so easy to walk to everything, clean, friendly staff and overall great!

Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself was very nice. Wish the bar and dining options was open a little longer but other wise had a great time staying here

The staff was excellent and the room was clean. Generally no problem with the hotel. However I was quite disappointed by the size of the Standard King Room (room 1201). Its squarish shape made it feel like half the size of other hotels. Maybe this is average for downtown hotels in 2024. My wife and I kept bumping into each other as we were getting ready to go out for dinner. If I stay at the Double Tree again I would ask for a larger room.

Everything is as good, staff were very friendly. I would have liked to have a room with a microwave. I have never seen that before. I left 2 souvenir Blue jays cups on the desk by the tv on Saturday and on Sunday when housekeeping cleaned up she must of thrown them out. I was disappointed with that, but maybe I shouldn’t have left them where I did. I was looking forward to taking them home.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. The room was a good size for 2 and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint would be that the AC was loud, but after the first night it hasn’t woken me up again. The hotel is at a good walking distance from everything we wanted to see, so we did everything on foot. The subway and tramway are right next to it for those who don’t like to walk. We park our car in the parking below and left it there the whole time even though we had in and out privileges. I would book there again if I had to go back to Toronto.

The rooms were a little small and an additional cot was not an option for the standard room because of fire code. The hallway carpets needed vacuuming and the doors needed a fresh coat of paint.

For the price, terrrible experience. The "blackout" curtains do not black-out the light, so be prepared for the early morning light to flood your room and wake you up. The AC unit is from the stone ages and sounds like a jet engine is taking off in the room, waking you up all night every time it kicks in. The door to the room was covered in scratches and splintered wood. There were no bathrobes or slippers in the room as advised. I had to order them up; when they arrived, they were old and ratty. No one at the front desk answered the phone whenever I called down from my room to ask a question.
