Our check-in experience was wonderful—the staff were amazing! They even found someone who spoke our language, which made us feel especially welcome. Everyone was kind, friendly, and very helpful.
The hotel itself was beautiful—super clean, with a lovely bathroom and a stunning view. We really enjoyed our stay overall.
The only downside came during checkout. We were expecting to get our $300 deposit back, and were told to wait while someone checked the room for any damages—which was totally understandable. However, the staff member assigned to do this went on a lunch break and forgot about us. We ended up waiting for about 30 minutes, which was frustrating as we had plans in Toronto and were running late. When she returned, she simply said she forgot and didn’t offer an apology. Instead, her coworker came over and asked if we wanted a drink, which felt a bit dismissive.
It was a disappointing way to end an otherwise great stay. I just wish the checkout process had been more organized, especially given how wonderful everything else had been.
