"I stayed in a glass igloo and it was amazing. The serene surroundings made for a peaceful stay. A moose passed by my igloo several times during my stay and I was able to get some decent photos of the aurora borealis. In the winter you can take a short walk across the river and see the sites of Jakkasjärvi, which includes the world famous Ice Hotel. The staff were kind and extremely helpful. The igloo, lounge, and shared bathrooms were immaculate. The provided breakfast was minimal but...

"Very nice hotel conveniently close to shopping and parking. If you want to visit the Iron mine (and you should) the meeting place only is a 5 min walk away. Impressive breakfast buffet in nice surroundings. The hotel has a great roof terrace, however the outside only has seating for about 12 people which is just not adequate for such a big hotel. "
