**On-Site Caretaker Suite – Tofino Bylaw: Please note that, in accordance with Tofino Bylaws for licensed vacation rentals, a long-term tenant resides on the property in a separate caretaker suite. This requirement helps support the local community by ensuring that long-term housing remains available for people who live and work in Tofino. Guests have full and private access to the entire vacation rental they have booked. The only shared area is the driveway/parking area. The caretaker has their own separate living space, so guests can still enjoy the privacy and comfort of the vacation rental throughout their stay.



COASTAL HAVEN is a charming home just a few short steps from the entrance of North Chesterman Beach. This home is surrounded by a half acre of coastal forest and a beautiful rhododendron garden. It has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, BBQ, private hot tub and an outdoor shower.



Main Floor: The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen with a cozy sitting area just off the kitchen, complete with a TV and comfortable seating. A large dining table provides seating for up to 6 guests, making it a great space to gather for meals. **Fridge & Freezer: Please note that the property features European-style refrigerator and freezer drawers rather than a standard full-size refrigerator. Guests should keep this in mind when planning groceries, as refrigerated and freezer storage space is more limited than with a traditional fridge.



Library: A welcoming library offers additional seating, a piano, and a variety of books to enjoy during your stay.

Bedroom #1: Queen bedroom-Main floor

Bedroom#2: Queen Bedroom-Ensuite bathroom-Main floor

Bedroom#3: Second floor loft space (requires stairs)-King bedroom-Ensuite bathroom. This is a loft style space with and ensuite and a sitting area to watch TV or to unwind with a book.



Laundry Room: A washer and dryer are located on the main floor and are available for guest use throughout your stay.



Backyard & Outdoor Area: The backyard is a lush garden oasis, offering a peaceful and private space to relax and unwind. Enjoy the hot tub, outdoor seating, wood-burning fire pit(wood not included), outdoor shower, and BBQ.



Location: Located just minutes from North Chesterman Beach and Tofino’s multi-use bike and walking path. Downtown Tofino is approximately a 7-minute drive away, where you’ll find local restaurants, cafés, shops, and galleries. The home is also just a short drive to all of Tofino’s beautiful beaches, making it a convenient home base for exploring the area.







IMPORTANT Things to Know/Host Rules (This avoids complaints)

• No parties or events

• Cancellation Policy: Moderate: 100% refund at least 30 days before arrival, 50% refund at least 14 days before arrival

• Amenities listed are those provided with the property.

•Parking: Three dedicated parking spaces are provided for guests at the property.

• If you require specific items, please ask before booking and we will do our best to assist.

• Renter's Agreement: All guests must sign the Renter's Agreement to confirm their reservation.

• Age Requirement: The primary guest making the reservation must be at least 25 years of age.

• Maximum Occupancy: In accordance with Tofino Bylaws, a maximum of six (6) guests is permitted, including infants and children. If the number of guests exceeds this limit, we reserve the right to terminate the reservation and require guests to leave the property without refund.

• Minimum Stay Requirements: During peak summer season (July-August), a minimum stay of 3 nights is required (unless it fills a gap)

• All summer bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps between reservations. During the summer season, reservation changes that create a one-night gap between bookings cannot be accommodated, as we do not accept one-night stays.

• A minimum stay of three (3) nights is also required for all Canadian Statutory Holiday periods.

• DOG Policy: Up to 2 dogs allowed only. All dogs must be approved AND PAID FOR prior to arrival. Guests who arrive with unregistered dogs or exceed the approved pet limit may be required to check out immediately. Dogs may not be left unattended in the property unless they are securely crated. Sorry no cats allowed.

• Quiet Hours: Strict quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of our neighbours and the local community.

• Accidental Damage Protection: This fee is already included in your reservation and covers accidental damages up to $1,000. This does not cover damages caused by parties, unauthorized events, negligence, misuse, or violations of house rules.
