"This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay while we explored the island. The apartment was very clean when we arrived, check-in was very easy, and it has a very cozy cottage vibe overall. It is steps from a beautiful beach front where we watched the sunset. "Pros: Great location, basic kitchen (with an induction hot plate) that worked well for cooking our meals. the bed is comfortable and linens were good quality. Locally sourced coffee and cleaning/personal care items (I bought both to take home). Cons(or suggestions) There are 26 steps, with no railing, to reach the lower suite. Just be aware if you have any mobility issues. There was no towel rack in the bathroom (it looked like there had been one that broke off but just hadn't been replaced...

The location is beautiful, our favourite place in BC - beautiful beach and gorgeous trails right outside our door. "We loved our stay at “El Faro”. The location was perfect- close to trails and an easy drive to the centre of town. The suite was super clean. It was cosy but so well organized with all we needed and more- a kitchenette, bathroom, desk/ eating table, comfy bed, fireplace, swim towels, games. The extra touches of chocolates, Ucluelet teas and eco friendly bath and kitchen soaps were lovely! We really felt like this was our home away from home.
