"Great cottage with a lovely mix of the traditional and the new, with good kitchen facilities providing everything you need for cooking. The sun room was a lovely space for relaxing in the evening, watching the changing weather and the peace and tranquility of the location. The showers in both bathrooms were good, powerful showers and the option for a bath in the main bathroom. "We stayed in the cottage 24 years ago and loved it. It has not changed much. This is the charm of the place. The cottage is situated in a quiet setting on Loch Sunart and after exploring all day was a nice place to relax and unwind. Our host Charlie was great. We had a water issue and it was handled straight away. I hope to return soon. A week was to short."

"A comfortable cottage in a wonderful temperate rainforest location and near to a community woodland. There are lovely local walks and it's a good base from which to explore Mull. The cottage has been recently redecorated and is very well equipped including with board games for adults and children. There is a good library of books. The twin bedroom is more suitable for children or teenagers as the beds are low and close together which presents some problems for anyone older or with mobility...

"Cottage is just perfect with everything you may need including fantastic garden. We had an amazing week exploring the area, been lucky with the weather allowing us to see breathtaking views wherever we went. Seen and heard deer every day, large window in the living area is perfect for wildlife watching. Owners are lovely and very helpful. Extra bonus was an aurora show on the last night of our stay. We will definitely be back. "

"We booked through home and away so was surprised that all communication subsequently came from cottages.com ( who were obviously the property manager) and then discovered that if I had originally booked with them the cottage would have been cheaper- which was annoying . Also disappointed that due to a local land dispute a nearby resident had erected a fence and we were unable to access the Loch near the cottage"

"Sehr schönes Haus, mit viel Liebe und Geschmack gebaut und eingerichtet. Vermieter/Eigentümer wohnt nebenan, sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ausstattung des Hauses ist neu und sehr gut. Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer grandios, ebenso aus dem Hot-Tub (37 °C) auf der Terrasse. Strontian ist ein sehr kleiner Ort in den Highlands etwas abseits der touristischen Zentren, sehr angenehm. Im Ort ein kleiner Supermarkt, 2-3 Restaurants und eine Tankstelle. Wenn wir nochmal in diese Gegend fahren, dann ist dieses...

"Ian's lodge proved to be super quaint in a quiet part of Kilchoan and up a slight hill, with a view of the water in the distance. Secluded surroundings making an evening on the porch ideal and private. Nice over hang making sit outs in the rain ideal and atmospheric. Very close to Kilchoan grocery store which also has a petrol station and with Kilchoan Hotel only a 5 minute walk away. So you have all the amenities on your doorstep. Great location for exploring the furthest part of Ardnamurchin...

"Det fungerede super nemt med koder til adgang. Lækker morgenmad til os i det lille køleskab og fin detalje med en honesty bar, hvor men selv kunne gå ud og købe ekstra drikkevarer. Virkelig lækkert og luksuriøst værelse, vi var helt vilde med tapetet og det rummelige badeværelse. Gode instruktioner lå klar til at læse, og selve byen og Isle of Mull var helt vildt hyggeligt! Højdepunkt på vores Skotland tur. Kan kun anbefale en bådtur for at se puffins. Parkering var på gaden, og vi havde heldigvis ikke problemer med at få plads."
