The Dolphin Flat

Exclusive and quiet (unless a rocket launches), first floor apartment in downtown Titusville. The building is on the Indian River right across from the Kennedy Space Center's launch pads and two blocks from Titusville's common area with restaurants, shops and clubs. A large window in the living room will allow you to look out Indian River Avenue to Astronaut Memorial Park and Sandpoint Park. It’s a people (or dog) watchers paradise. Your flat is just South of Scobie Park and there are several more parks North toward the city marina. Although not directly on the river it is just down the stairs and a few steps around the corner to view launch pads and scheduled rocket launches from the Space Center.

This property is amazing! The theme is on point -- anything and everything nautical, down to the dishes. Everything is clean and organized, color schemes, decor, and overall design. Huge fan! The kitchen was stocked... all the herbs and seasonings, paper products, coffee and filters, truly well thought out to please any guest. Beds were comfortable (more so than a hotel) and every room has a TV with streaming. My party had 4 people (2 grown children and spouse) and we never felt cramped. The outside patio is great to get some sun and read a book. Amazingly close proximity to the river and fantastic views of the Kennedy Space Center Vehicle Assembly Building and launchpads for any space lover! Full size laundry as well. Would definitely stay again - maybe squeeze in a rocket launch!

The directions we received were clear and accurate, making arrival and parking simple and stress-free. The check-in process was easy, everything was as described. The apartment was neat and clean. Our host was responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The laundry room was convenient and easy to use. The heating and cooling system was easy to use and worked well. The bathrooms were well stocked. The location was perfect for us, walking distance to restaurants, cafes, bars and much more. I personally enjoyed watching the sunrise over the water, sitting on the property with my coffee. I also enjoyed eating my breakfast on the screened in porch. We also saw two rocket launches from the property. What a great location : )We had a wonderful experience.

Fantastic apartment. Clean, comfortable, spacious and wonderfully decorated with memorabilia and antiques. The host, Capt Stan, checked in on us and made great recommendations for activities to do in the area. It’s important to know this apartment is right on the river with a direct view of Cape Canaveral launch pads where we watched the launch of the Artimus II in a private courtyard. We can’t wait to return soon for a week.

This is a wonderful place to stay, especially if you are going to Kennedy Space Center. There are plenty of dining options, gas stations, convenience stores, etc in the vicinity for any essentials you may need in addition to several essentials already provided to you at the property. You'll have a nice view of KSC that you can watch a launch without leaving the property and some restaurants that are a very short walk to. The flat itself is extremely clean and well kept with beautiful marine/nautical decorations throughout. There's plenty of space and a nice screened in porch to hang out outside without worrying about bugs. Best of all, you have the owner, Captain Mitch to assist you with anything you need throughout your stay, from dining recommendations to best beaches and things to do in the surrounding area. We're looking forward to our next stay here!

It was great! We stayed here so we could visit NASA. Capt. Mitch reached out the morning we were leaving to let us know about a launch. We were able to step out of the vrbo and watch it from the parking lot! What an amazing experience. This vrbo is conveniently located to many restaurants. (Walking distance to dinner). We stayed 2 nights & I highly recommend it.

The host was most excellent. The house was very pleasant. The only thing that I would do different, but nobody else does it either - is have a dehumidifier. The air-conditioning works well, but it would be great to pull the humidity out of the air..Thank you, Captain Mitch for everything, I’m coming back!

This was an AMAZING place to stay. We came down early for a cruise so that we could visit Kennedy Space Center. This was the absolute perfect location. Titusville is a fantastic little town with tons to do. The house itself was absolutely perfect. The beds were comfortable, the sofa was superb (seriously I wanted to steal it), and the kitchen had everything you could need. But the view was what put it over the top for us. You could see the VAB from the house. We were lucky enough to be there during a launch and got to sit in comfort of our pjs when it launched at 12:30am. I seriously can’t recommend this place highly enough especially for the price. We will definitely be back when we come for our next cruise but we’re also talking about a trip down just to hang out in Titusville. Seriously, this house is a 20 out of 10. We loved every second we spent there. Thank you for the amazing memories!

The host had excellent communication before, during and after the stay. They went our of their way to inform us on the rocket launch schedules/changes and local attractions that might interest us. The VRBO was clean, tidy and ready for check in as promised. Would absolutely stay here again if travel brings me back to this area.

The Dolphin Flat was easy to get to and more spacious than the photos lead me to believe! The place was spotless and very comfortable. We used the washer and dryer, both of which were large capacity. The kitchen had everywe needed. Communication with Captain Mitch was a breeze with very fast response times. Great place!

It was an all-around 10! A great location, clean, comfortable beds, there was no hassel getting in (the codes were all correct, this is not always the case with vrbo), the owner was responsive in case we needed something. Everything worked! We were able to watch a rocket launch, most importantly there are bike lanes all over the place and it was half a mile to the bike path. We would definitely rate this a 10!

We had everything we needed! Very close to the Titusville, Playhouse and other restaurants and shopping opportunities. Perfectly placed on the water. Captain Mitch was a great host and even accommodated returning a pillow we forgot to take with us. We will stay there again!

If you are into beaches, rockets and nice places to stay, this is the place for you. Woke up to the world shaking and was able to run outside quickly to watch a rocket launch. Super Awesome! This place is amazing! The apartment is super-clean. It it perfectly themed, the decorations are very well thought out. The kitchen is stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, utensils and even spices you need. There are even lovely serving dishes like you would have in your own home. There are plenty of clean towels and extra sheets. The beds were really comfortable and the area is quiet at night. The view is really nice and there is cute local wildlife in the area. You can easily walk to the downtown area in minutes. There are 3 parks within walking distance, including Space View Park where you can learn about space history and is a great place to view rocket launches. The park that featured the 4th of July fireworks was a few blocks away and the town did a great job, they were really impressive! I would highly recommend staying at The Dolphin Flat and will definitely return! Captain Mitch was very nice and easy to get in contact with. Stay at this gem if you're in the area!

Great condo great host!

The condo is beautiful, clean, and had very unique nautical decor. Captain Mitch was an excellent host and had clear communication. The location of the condo is great for rocket launches and the historic downtown Titusville. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Titusville.

Well themed and convenient stay

Perfectly placed between coffee shops and rocket launches. We (especially my daughter) loved the decorations - the boat and animal themes throughout. Mitch was also great to communicate with - clear directions to the property and getting checked in.I'd definitely stay here again on our next visit to the space coast.
